Assistant Artist Manager (Full Time)

This role is created to assist the Deputy Chief Executive / Head of Artist Management with their select roster of artists.  You will provide first class administrative support, regularly liaising with the artists to ensure they have all required information to fulfil their commitments. This is an excellent opportunity to work with top international musicians.  As a member of a busy department, the role includes but is not limited to:

Diary & Schedules

  • Responsibility for keeping artists’ diaries up-to-date and creating detailed schedules
  • Liaising with a variety of external contacts (including promoters, venues, other artists and agents) to arrange logistical aspects of engagements

Marketing & PR

  • Working with Intermusica’s Communications & Marketing department on a variety of promotional materials, in particular keeping clients’ pages on the company website up-to-date with concert listings, recordings, reviews etc.
  • Collaborating with record labels and/or PR agencies, to co-ordinate promotional activity

Contracts & Finance

  • Checking and processing of contracts in a timely fashion
  • Producing financial paperwork (invoices, statements etc.) and working with the Finance department to ensure prompt payments to artists and to Intermusica
  • Initiating and/or assisting with tax applications, where necessary

Travel & Accommodation

  • Researching and booking travel and accommodation for artists
  • Processing visa and work permit arrangements when necessary
  • Co-ordinating sales trips for the Head of Artist Management and collating briefing notes as required

Departmental Support

  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of artists’ careers, repertoire and ongoing artistic matters
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of the business and promoters that Intermusica deals with
  • Keeping abreast of developments in areas that affect your work: tax, immigration, travel, accommodation etc


  • This role will include representing Intermusica at concerts and industry events, sometimes outside of office hours.  Some travel, both in the UK and to other countries, may be required
  • Assisting with general office admin, welcoming guests and answering phones, when necessary



  • Graduate calibre with at least one year’s experience
  • Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with artists, promoters and colleagues in a professional manner
  • Able to prioritise and multi-task, in a fast-paced environment
  • Follows instructions and uses initiative as required
  • Team player who builds trust by being solutions-focused and accountable for their work
  • Highly organised, works to deadlines and with an excellent eye for detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office


  • Fluent or proficient in a second language
  • Working knowledge of classical music
