Senior/Site Engineer (Full Time)

Stewart Construction is seeking an experienced Senior/Site Engineer.

You will be working within a well-established team on a variety of prestigious projects.

The current workload is exciting and you will be involved at all stages. This is a great opportunity to be part of an expanding team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans in line with the company QA procedures
  • Assisting Project Quality Engineer in ensuring high level of standards are achieved and maintained on site
  • Management and development of junior engineering staff
  • Supporting Site Manager/PM in day to day site functions
  • Knowledge of BIM an advantage
  • Strong understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards in executing and development of a project
  • Coordination of sub-contractors
  • Monitor and control of health and safety standards on site
  • Carry out site inductions as required
  • Liaise with the design team on construction issues
  • Raise RFIs with the design team
  • Issue requisitions for materials
  • Maintain the site diary / daily log activities
  • Monitor and control quality / work standards on site
  • Manage concrete quality, taking cubes / slump tests on site & recording results
  • Maintain goods received register

Requirements

  • Degree qualified Engineer
  • 5+ years’ experience (preferably with a main contractor)
  • Strong Setting Out/Levels Experience
  • Civils/Building experience - Commercial/Industrial/Educational
